Please note the following catalogue deadlines:
Cattle entries close on Wednesday the week before sale at 12 noon
Calves entries close at 5pm on the Monday the day before the sale
Store sheep entries close at 10am every Monday
Ram entries close at 5pm on the Thursday prior to the Tuesday sale date
Pig entries close at 3.00pm on the Tuesday prior to the Thursday sale date. NB. Pig sales are cancelled until further notice.
Please download & print the Cattle Movement Form from the link. Complete the form when bringing cattle into the market & present it with the cattle on the sale day. (Please use separate sheets for each section). Add your farm assurance sticker if applicable.

TB Exempt and Restricted Cattle
Hereford Market is licensed for TB exempt and TB restricted cattle. TB exempt cattle can be sold on the first and third Thursdays of each month on normal store cattle sale days, with the exempt cattle penned separately in the new building, unloading on the bay to the left of bay one into the new cattle building.
TB restricted sales can take place on Mondays as notified by vendors. TB exempt and restricted cattle vendors should show licences, documents and passports at the office before any cattle are unloaded. The auctioneers take no responsibility if cattle are unloaded with inadequate documentation to allow a sale to take place.
Purchasers of restricted and exempt cattle must show details of their AFU, EFU, purchasing abattoir details before making a purchase.
The deadline for rams is 5.00pm on the Thursday prior to the Tuesday sale date. The entry form link is above in the list of entry forms.

NO PIGS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR SALE UNLESS THE OWNER IS REGISTERED AND THE MOVEMENT REGISTERED WITH BPEX.
If completing the movement on line please make certain you choose the option ‘send to market (onward slaughter) to enable the FCI form to be printed. We need a copy of this section including food chain information as most of our pigs head to abattoirs. Please print one copy of the licence and bring to the market with your pigs.
